"Refund took a while, but it got sorted"
I had a problem with my order and ended up having to raise a complaint. At the start, I felt a bit left in the dark because the replies were slow and I wasn’t really sure what was happening.
After I followed up a few times, someone finally looked into it properly and they agreed to process the refund. It took longer than I was hoping for, but in the end, the money did come back to my account.
I’m giving 3 stars because my issue was eventually fixed, but the whole process could have been clearer and quicker. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just more stressful than it needed to be.

Just a quick warning for anyone thinking about ordering one — the fruit basket I got was genuinely fresh and better quality than I expected. Everything looked nice, tasted good, and my family was really happy with it. it set the bar high.

"My order showed up on time..."
My order showed up on time, and most of the items were correct, so that was good. But one of the smaller items wasn’t what I actually picked, which was kind of disappointing. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s still frustrating when you expect your order to be right. Overall, the service was okay, just not quite what I hoped for.

"Not a lot to pick from :/"
I was hoping to find a few gifts, but most of the things I wanted were either out of stock or not listed at all. The selection felt limited, especially for gift options :(. I ended up having to go somewhere else to buy what I needed.

"Surprisingly easy way to send a gift"
I used Kapruka to send a gift to my family in Sri Lanka, i was pleasantly surprised by how simple the whole thing was. I found what I wanted quickly, added it to the cart, and checked out without running into any confusing steps.
I was ordering in a bit of a rush, so I was glad the mobile site worked smoothly too. The payment process was clear, and I got email updates afterward, which was reassuring. Overall, it turned out to be a much easier experience than I expected.

"Pretty normal experience overall"
I was trying to sort out a small issue and everything seemed okay at first. The process itself wasn’t too confusing, and I didn’t have a huge problem explaining what I needed. After a while though, I started checking back more than I expected because the support replies were slow. It did get handled eventually, but the waiting made it a bit frustrating...

"Showed up right on time"
I ordered a birthday gift through kapruka.com and I was totally calm about the delivery timing... well, mostly pretending to be calm, because I really needed it to arrive on the right day.

Luckily, it reached exactly on the date I picked, and actually a bit earlier than I thought it would. The gift got to the person without any drama, which was a relief.

Overall, I’m really happy with how smoothly it went. The process was simple, the timing was solid, and I didn’t have to actually panic, so I’d definitely use them again.

"Prices could definitely be better"
kapruka is alright when I need to send something in a hurry, and to be fair, the service has worked fine for me most of the time. But the prices on some items feel higher than they should be, and once the delivery charges get added, it doesn’t always feel like good value.
I don’t expect everything to be cheap, but I do wish the product prices matched what you actually receive. Also, when you raise concerns, the replies can feel like very canned apologies, which is a bit annoying when all you want is a proper answer.

"Checkout made paying way harder than it needed to be"
I tried checking out and my payment failed twice for no clear reason. It finally went through after a bunch of extra tries, but it felt like such a waste of time and energy just to pay for something.

"Good updates the whole way"
Really happy with kapruka honestly... from the moment I placed the order until it got delivered they kept me posted. I got messages at every step so I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. Communication was clear, quick, and just easy. I’ll definitely use them again

I placed an order on 6th December for a cake, trimmer, and flower bouquet. The order was confirmed first, and only after confirmation I was asked to make the payment. I paid the full amount trusting your confirmation. After taking my money, I was informed that the trimmer was not available and was asked to choose alternatives. This is completely unacceptable. If the item was not available, you should never have confirmed the order or accepted payment in the first place. The trimmer was the main item of this order, and your actions ruined the entire purpose of the purchase. I immediately requested a refund for the trimmer. The price breakdown is as follows: • Cake – LKR 7,391 • Trimmer – LKR 20,423 • Flower bouquet – LKR 3,251 • Total item value – LKR 31,065 However, I was charged LKR 33,174, with an additional LKR 2,109 claimed as delivery or other charges. As of 23rd December, the refund was still not completed. Every follow-up results in the same excuses: “not today,” “tomorrow,” “on Monday,” “on Friday.” This is not customer service this is deliberate delay and avoidance. Even worse, for a trimmer priced at LKR 20,423, I was refunded only LKR 15,890, with no explanation, no breakdown, and no justification. This is unacceptable and appears to be wrongful deduction of customer funds. Your WhatsApp support staff shows zero professionalism, provides misleading information, and refuses to take responsibility. Requests to speak with a manager or superior were completely ignored. Instead of providing a direct contact, I was sent a generic email address, clearly to avoid accountability. Calls were never transferred to a responsible authority. Kapruka is misleading customers, especially those living abroad, by confirming unavailable items, collecting payments, delaying refunds, and deducting money without explanation. This behavior is unethical and dishonest. If this matter is not immediately resolved, including a full and justified refund, I will proceed with public reviews, formal complaints, and escalation to releva

Kapruka sells damaged items. Be careful. Specially for online orders in overseas people I ordered a two burner gas cooker for my mom in SL. they delivered a damaged one and we informed within 24 hours but their agent replied in two weeks and asks to keep few days and repair it. I asked a refund or replace. they never agreed. greedy people with no customer care. they know that overseas people don’t fight for the orders so they ignore them. it’s less than a month now. the cooker completely not working now. be careful and think 100 times before ordering from KAPRUKA. it’s a scam using to grab money from innocent poor people in SL.

They don't even care about return or refund policy.
