How would you rate Kapruka?
I placed an order on 6th December for a cake, trimmer, and flower bouquet. The order was confirmed first, and only after confirmation I was asked to make the payment. I paid the full amount trusting your confirmation. After taking my money, I was informed that the trimmer was not available and was asked to choose alternatives. This is completely unacceptable. If the item was not available, you should never have confirmed the order or accepted payment in the first place. The trimmer was the main item of this order, and your actions ruined the entire purpose of the purchase. I immediately requested a refund for the trimmer. The price breakdown is as follows: • Cake – LKR 7,391 • Trimmer – LKR 20,423 • Flower bouquet – LKR 3,251 • Total item value – LKR 31,065 However, I was charged LKR 33,174, with an additional LKR 2,109 claimed as delivery or other charges. As of 23rd December, the refund was still not completed. Every follow-up results in the same excuses: “not today,” “tomorrow,” “on Monday,” “on Friday.” This is not customer service this is deliberate delay and avoidance. Even worse, for a trimmer priced at LKR 20,423, I was refunded only LKR 15,890, with no explanation, no breakdown, and no justification. This is unacceptable and appears to be wrongful deduction of customer funds. Your WhatsApp support staff shows zero professionalism, provides misleading information, and refuses to take responsibility. Requests to speak with a manager or superior were completely ignored. Instead of providing a direct contact, I was sent a generic email address, clearly to avoid accountability. Calls were never transferred to a responsible authority. Kapruka is misleading customers, especially those living abroad, by confirming unavailable items, collecting payments, delaying refunds, and deducting money without explanation. This behavior is unethical and dishonest. Kapruka sells damaged items. Be careful. Specially for online orders in overseas people I ordered a two burner gas cooker for my mom in SL. they delivered a damaged one and we informed within 24 hours but their agent replied in two weeks and asks to keep few days and repair it. I asked a refund or replace. they never agreed. greedy people with no customer care. they know that overseas people don’t fight for the orders so they ignore them. it’s less than a month now. the cooker completely not working now. be careful and think 100 times before ordering from KAPRUKA. it’s a scam using to grab money from innocent poor people in SL.
